William Kaufman

For the past year Will has been working as a freelance shooter/producer for MTV's MADE while working on personal projects in his free time. Will’s portfolio includes Music Videos, Commercials, Documentaries, Independent Films, Live Events, Corporate and Broadcast Programs. His work involves new and traditional film and video formats, including HD.

A Rowan University Graduate, Will has been working in production since 2002; working closely with TV and Film professionals such as Tony Stewart (Director of Photography)– and Al Szymanski (Producer) -  He has built a reputation for himself as a very dedicated and talented filmmaker. 

Will has also done video work for DIY, Bravo, Ovation, Red Line Films, ©Bacardi Rum, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and imeem. Will has always been known for being a perfectionist and very accessible.

Gary Wilkins

Gary's strengths lie in the technical, pre- and post-production aspects of filming, always helping give that distinct look of professionalism to any project he works on. While working with Somatic Cinema he has produced many films, and offered technical support and advice.  He has vast knowledge of hardware and software editing products, and keeps things running smoothly and on schedule.  If there is a problem he cannot solve he knows where to look for the answer.

Gary prefers working with the Adobe Suite products and does most of the DVD layouts and authoring.  He has invested a significant portion of his time into learning the software and hardware aspects of videography.  He currently holds the following certifications:  CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, Apple Certified Macintosh Technician

Jon Schroder

Jon Schroder is a creative entity who has sound knowledge of film making from pre and post production to acting and conceptual writing and directing.  While working with Somatic Cinema and attending Rowan University Jon has filled every role on and off the screen in productions including music videos, short films, documentaries and live event filming including plays, weddings and birthday parties. 
Jon has worked in the Film and TV industry since 2002 and most notably with Red Line Films in NY, NY.  Jon has also found success in film festivals since 2003, and has been an integral team player in over 100 productions.  His acting has been quoted as showing great talent and even more promise.

Rob Smith

Rob Smith is an eager, hard working individual that will do anything he can to get a project done in a timely fashion with results of the highest quality. Aside from being a photographer (Bar Mitzvahs, Weddings, Portrait, Animal, Still Life, and Extreme Sports), he has been described as a welcome presence on any production.

Rob’s organizational skills are impressive, managing all types of projects throughout production; including managing a 3 day production with extreme deadlines (production manager for SENT).

Rob also has vast managerial experience and oversees all paper work to keep things running smooth. In addition to being very business oriented Rob has a very imaginative mind which comes through in script conceptualization and storyboarding.

One of the most interesting things Rob brings to the table comes from his background in set protection which deals heavily in the safety of employees; Rob is usually called in whenever we need a particularly dangerous shot or stunt performed.

Rob may only have five years experience starting with his days at Rowan University and working in collaboration with Somatic Cinema, but has worked on over forty projects and is always eager to start a new one for you.

 

Anthony Casaletto

Anthony Casaletto is a graduate of Temple University's Film and Media Arts program. Anthony has a strong passion for filmmaking and vast experience on a professional level.
He has worked with professional actors such as Frank Minucci (Carlito's Way), and has had the privilege to correspond with directors such as Eugene Martin (Edge City). He has been involved in dozens of short films, documentaries, music videos, television shows, commercials, wedding videos, and feature length films.
While at Somatic Cinema he assisted William Kaufman and Michael J. Stabile with dozens of short films. Anthony has written and directed a variety of productions, and shot numerous projects as well. He enjoys working with WDKFILMS and as a new member to the team he is looking forward to sharing a bright future with them.

Brian Kaufman

Brian Kaufman is currently a traditional animation student at the School of Visual Arts and has a wealth of experience in the field of animation. He is experienced in traditional means of animation but also experienced in New Media animation.  He has a complete understanding of Adobe Aftereffects, Premiere, Photoshop, Flash, and Illustrator.
He understands the process of animation from storyboarding and character design to coloring and compositing. He created the intro animation for the Award winning documentary Blowing Smoke. He has also done work on the side with storytelling, video editing, and digital music production. 
Projects: 

  • Director of Animation – Hired to storyboard and animate the intro to this award winning film Blowing Smoke and Burning Out.
  • He is currently working on a 2 minute fully colored animation to be completed within a four month’s time span. 
  • Freelanced a film project for Lori Anzalone Owner and Senior Creative Director of Avarella Studios
  • Won best drama at the 2006 Anime - Next Anime Music Video contest for “Serial Experiments lain – Robert Miles Music Video” 
  • On his own time:
    • Created a 30 second traditional animation.
    • Full minute traditional animation.
 

James Lupo

James Lupo is a Creative Designer from New Jersey, with a strong knowledge of vector based graphics and raster based.  He has a complete understanding from clothing to vehicle wraps.
His design skills combined with a smart business sense allow him to juggle multiple projects at once.  Designing websites, brochures, Logos, T-Shirts, Business Signs, and acting and shooting video at the same time.
James designs using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign and does web using Flash and HTML as well as integrating other software and hardware to get any graphic’s job done.  James has worked with WDK FILMS on designing DVDs, T-Shirts, Logos, Websites, and Commercial Video.

John Kalosy

 John Kalosy is a proud member of WDK films who specializes in original music and sound effects. He has a great deal of experience working on numerous projects and greatly enjoys creating new music tweaked to the director’s imagination. John has extensive experience with sound software such as Propellerhead’s Reason and Sony’s Acid Pro.  
John enjoys working on the wide range of projects offered by WDK films. The variety allows him to create in almost every genre of music and discover new ways of producing sound. Scoring films and adding texture to the audio is a rewarding challenge that is enhanced by the great talent involved with WDK films.
John is responsible for all original music used on the website, as well as scoring many of WDK FILMS’ projects in the experimental, commercial, corporate, and documentary categories.  He has also worked on such projects as SENT and the recent video done for BACARDI.
